Nissan Commercial Range
From the small and efficient NV200 to the cab over engine Cabstar the Nissan commercial range has it all covered when it comes to the day to day needs of a business. It is a diverse collection ranging from the small and spacious to the mighty and heavyweight. Within their camp Nissan commercial have the NV200, NV400 with various conversions which include the Tipper and Box van and the NT400 cab over engine. In addition to this they have a pick-up truck - the Navara. The range uses the latest technology as standard and the fuel efficient range adds to the low cost of ownership.
The Nissan NV200
As the smallest commercial vehicle within the Nissan range it may be small but it is deceptively spacious. It is a great run around vehicle especially appropriate for urban driving, making deliveries and journeys that spend a lot of time starting and stopping. The Nissan NV200 is available in E, SE and N-tec models with a choice of 3 trims, namely the Visia, Acenta and Tekna.
The Nissan NV400
The NV400 is a vehicle with many uses. As well as the standard panel van the vehicle also comes in crew van and a crew bus. If it is a heavier weight job that you need it for then you will pleased to know that it is also available as a Tipper, Dropside and Box van conversion. There are various sizes of the NV400 and a range of specifications with added extras available as options.
The Nissan Navara
Not every manufacturer has a pickup in their stable but the Nissan Navara is a double cab pickup built to a high spec both in terms of quality and performance. It is specifically designed for commercial purposes but based on the Nissan Pathfinder passenger vehicle with a flatbed pickup in place of the Pathfinder body. It is a good looking vehicle and perfect for those who are image conscious. Not only does it make light of carrying heavy loads for business purposes it is also a great leisure vehicle perfect for camping and cycling holidays. Like the NV200 there are 3 specifications - Visia, Tekna and Outlaw.
The Nissan NT400 Cabstar
The NT400 Cabstar is a spacious vehicle that comes in a range of payloads designed to provide maximum efficiency. It has a cab over engine design which gives a different drive to other commercial vehicles. The cab over engine does give the benefit of a higher riding position and much greater visibility as well as a smaller turning circle and greater maneuverability. The Cabstar has a spacious load volume and a best in class payload and therefore fulfils a number of roles.
The Nissan offers what no other manufacturer does in terms of the Cabstar and that is its large windscreen and higher riding position which scores well above average on the visibility front. For such an industrious vehicle it is surprisingly comfortable and is great for those longer journeys.
The Nissan Engine has something to suit all with an electric engine available in the NV200 to a 3.0litre automatic transmission diesel engine which delivers performance and economy.
NV200 - 1.5DCi 89hp and 110hp - delivers up to 57.65mpg and CO2 emissions of 128g/km.
NV400 - 2.3 litres DCi engine in 100hp, 125hp and 150hp. Delivers between 29-34mpg with CO2 emissions of 214-233g/km.
Navara - 2.5 litre DCi - 144hp with the Navara Visia and 190hp with the Teckna model. The Outlaw has a 3.0 litre diesel engine and is automatic. Fuel consumption ranges from 30.4mpg - 39.8mpg and CO2 emissions range from 215 - 226g/km.
Cabstar - 2.5 litre diesel high output engine with 120hp or 140hp available in Basic, Basic+ and Pro.
Features of the Nissan range.
The commercial range from Nissan has many standard features - ABS, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Brake Assist are key safety features of the Nissan range. To add to the plentiful standard features there are option packs available to further enhance the quality and performance of these vehicles. Nissan Connect by Tom Tom has integrated sat nav a digital tachograph and Limited Slip Differential and for safety you can choose rear view cameras and parking sensors to avoid any unnecessary accidents.
